Most jigsaw puzzles ask you to join pieces together. Unpuzzle turns that idea around. Every level begins with connected pieces, and your job is to separate them until the board becomes empty.

The game has a clean look with white puzzle pieces arranged into different shapes. You don’t need to match pictures or search for missing corners. You need to work out which pieces can move away from the others.

It starts with simple arrangements and gradually adds new rules that make removing the pieces more interesting.

Find the First Piece That Can Move

Look at the pieces around the outside of the puzzle. Some have a clear path away from the group, while others cannot move because another piece blocks them.

Drag a free piece outward to remove it from the board.

Once a piece disappears, the empty space may allow another one to move. Continue removing pieces until nothing remains.

Trying to pull a blocked piece doesn’t solve anything. Look for another piece that can leave the arrangement without hitting its neighbors.

Different Marks Mean Different Rules

Unpuzzle introduces special pieces as you complete more levels.

Some pieces display arrows. These can move only in particular directions. You may need to remove several ordinary pieces before an arrow piece has enough space to leave.

Numbered pieces add another rule. Their markings affect when you can remove them.

You also encounter rotating pieces that make the board more complicated. Pay attention to these special squares before deciding which piece to move next.

One Move Can Open Several Paths

You don’t always need to focus on the piece that looks closest to an exit.

A better approach is to find a square blocking several others. Removing it may create enough space for another part of the puzzle.

Look at the arrows and surrounding pieces carefully. Try to understand which ones depend on another piece moving first.

After each removal, check the arrangement again. The board changes with every successful move, so a piece that cannot move now may become available a moment later.

Play Without Racing Against a Clock

Unpuzzle lets you concentrate on finding the right order. There are no enemies chasing you or complicated controls to memorize.

Some boards take only a short time to solve. Others need more attention because several pieces have special movement rules.

The quiet style suits players who enjoy solving small problems at their own pace. Each disappearing piece shows your progress, and the level ends when the entire board is clear.

Unpuzzle makes you think about how objects connect and what needs to move first. The satisfaction comes from finding a simple way to take a complicated arrangement apart.
