Rogue Buddies 2 sends Maximus and his team into another side-scrolling mission filled with gunfights, traps, treasure, and puzzles. The four mercenaries return with the same different specialties. Maximus handles assault weapons and grenades. Smoke carries heavy firepower and rockets. Alpha Tech works with shields and drones. Duster brings quick ninja movement and his katana.
This time, their search for gold becomes tangled with unfinished business involving the Company. The group faces its former bosses, dangerous enemies, and hostile forces while trying to rescue captured members of the crew and collect valuable gold.
Explore More Than a Simple Jungle Path
Rogue Buddies 2 moves through several kinds of environments. The journey includes jungle areas, lost cities, tunnels, ruins, caves, and gold-covered mountain sections. Some areas even take the characters underwater.
The changing locations help each part of the adventure feel different. One section may focus on enemies and gunfire. Another can slow things down with a puzzle or an object that needs to be used correctly.
There are also doors to break through, ropes to swing from, traps to avoid, and small bonus items to find.
Use the Whole Team to Solve Problems
Rogue Buddies 2 does not expect one character to handle every situation. Puzzles can require the special skill of a certain buddy. This means switching between the four mercenaries becomes part of solving levels rather than only a visual choice.

Rogue Buddies 2 includes a bike, helicopter, and skiboat. Some stages require a vehicle to complete the mission, while other levels make the vehicle optional. You may need to find a key before you can use one.
