The area outside the Zombie Bar is anything but peaceful in Super Zombies Again. Zombies wander toward your survivor from every direction, and there is no final group that makes the danger disappear. You have to keep moving, defend yourself and collect supply crates while the enemies close in.
The game has a simple look, but staying alive can become difficult once the area fills with zombies. You need to think about where to move instead of standing in one place and firing.
The Real Prize Is a Supply Crate
Killing zombies helps you survive, but it doesn’t directly increase your score. The important items are the crates that appear around the area.
Every crate you collect adds to your score. Another one then appears somewhere else, giving you a new place to reach.
This makes Super Zombies Again different from games that reward you for defeating as many enemies as possible. Fighting clears a path, but collecting supplies moves your score forward.
Try to reach each crate without getting trapped among the approaching zombies.
Your Weapon Can Change at Any Moment
A supply crate doesn’t just give you points. It also replaces your current weapon with a random one.
You might find a gun that works well from a distance or receive something better suited to nearby enemies. The changing weapons can make your next few moments different from the ones before.
Pay attention after every pickup. Don’t assume you still have the same weapon in your hands.
Learning to adjust to each new weapon helps you survive longer.
Make Some Space Before Moving
Zombies approach from several directions. Running straight toward a crate can put you in the middle of a dangerous crowd.
Move around the open area and attack enemies that block your route. Avoid allowing too many zombies to gather near your survivor.
Use the movement controls to keep your distance while aiming and attacking. On a computer, you can move with W, A, S and D and aim with the mouse.
Meet More Survivors
Collecting crates also helps unlock additional survivors. You can choose different characters as you continue playing.
There isn’t a traditional finish line to reach. The challenge comes from surviving, collecting another crate and improving your previous result.
Super Zombies Again makes every pickup matter. One crate can give you a useful weapon. The next might leave you with something completely different while zombies continue to approach.
