About Bornsy

Bornsy is a choice-driven life simulation game in which you guide a character from infancy through childhood, adulthood, and later life. You decide how to spend your time, develop your abilities, build relationships, earn money, and create a lasting family legacy.

Your story unfolds through everyday activities, seasonal adventures, important decisions, and unexpected events. You might become a successful professional, raise a large family, travel the world, release creative projects, or build a business. There is room to pursue several ambitions during the same life.

The game begins with a five-second TechGrapple Games animation before opening the character setup screen.

Create Your Character

Each new life begins with a baby. The character creator lets you shape your starting identity and choose a direction for your future.

  • Choose your character’s name and gender.
  • Select a birthplace and family background.
  • Customize your appearance.
  • Choose a personality trait.
  • Select a life dream.
  • Set your romantic preferences.
  • Use the random character option if you want a surprise.

Your family background influences your early circumstances. Your personality gives you advantages in certain parts of life, while your dream provides a long-term objective.

Your character’s portrait changes as they grow older, showing the passage from a small child to an older adult.

How Time and Seasons Work

Each year contains four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Instead of letting time pass automatically, Bornsy lets you decide when to move forward.

Most activities consume energy. You receive a fresh supply when a new season begins, so each season involves choosing what deserves your attention.

  • Spend energy on activities, relationships, learning, work, or adventures.
  • Choose Next season when you are ready to continue.
  • Complete four seasons to advance another year.
  • Discover new opportunities as your character reaches different ages.

Moving into another season can bring income, expenses, changes in relationships, and new events. Growing older also unlocks school, careers, independent travel, and other experiences.

Understand Your Character’s Stats

Your character’s condition affects the choices and opportunities available throughout the game.

  • Health represents your physical well-being. Exercise, medical care, and healthy activities can help maintain it.
  • Happiness reflects how satisfied your character feels. Enjoyable experiences and meaningful relationships can improve it.
  • Smarts supports education, learning, and access to demanding careers.
  • Looks can influence certain opportunities and improve through some activities.
  • Stress builds through demanding responsibilities and can harm your well-being when it becomes too high.
  • Energy determines how many activities you can complete before advancing the season.
  • Money pays for purchases, education, travel, and living expenses.

Other qualities, including kindness, fame, skills, and relationship strength, develop through the choices you make.

Balancing your character’s needs is part of the challenge. A busy career may bring more money, but your health, happiness, and relationships still need attention.

Explore the Six Main Sections

The navigation menu organizes your life into six areas.

  • Life shows your current situation, seasonal adventure, and personal journal.
  • School or Career contains education and employment opportunities appropriate to your age.
  • Wealth contains investments, businesses, vehicles, and property.
  • People contains relationships, family members, and pets.
  • Explore contains everyday activities, skills, creative projects, and travel.
  • Goals tracks your life dream, milestones, and adventure memories.

The School section becomes Career when your character reaches adulthood.

Enjoy Childhood and School

Your earliest years focus on discovery, play, and family. Babies and young children can enjoy simple experiences such as cuddling, exploring their surroundings, listening to stories, and playing.

School begins at age five. As your character grows, you can improve grades, develop interests, and prepare for future opportunities.

  • Complete homework.
  • Take exams.
  • Get extra tutoring.
  • Join a school club.
  • Practice with other club members.
  • Develop useful skills outside the classroom.

Clubs include music, art, robotics, sports, the school newspaper, and debate. Each provides a way to explore an interest while building relevant abilities.

Strong grades can help you qualify for college scholarships. During the teenage years, additional opportunities become available, including weekend work and creative projects.

Develop Skills and Find Your Interests

Bornsy includes eight skills that can influence your future.

  • Music
  • Art
  • Coding
  • Athletics
  • Writing
  • Cooking
  • Charisma
  • Business

Skills improve through practice and related activities. They can also grow through clubs, adventures, travel, education, and other experiences.

Developing a skill can help you qualify for careers, enter competitions, create projects, or run a business. Reaching 100 represents mastery of that skill.

You can specialize in a favorite interest or develop several abilities to create a more varied life.

Take Part in Seasonal Adventures

Every season offers a special adventure in the Life section. These outings give you a small story to explore, a choice to make, and a keepsake to remember it by.

There are twelve adventure scenarios, covering four seasons across three stages of life.

  • Early childhood adventures focus on discovery, play, and time with loved ones.
  • School-age adventures include creative challenges, festivals, and activities with friends.
  • Adult adventures include community events, performances, outdoor experiences, and helping others.

Each adventure offers two choices. The available rewards are shown before you decide, making it easier to choose an experience that suits your character.

Completing an adventure costs one energy and awards a keepsake. You can complete one adventure per season, with another opportunity arriving when the next season begins.

Build Your Memory Box

The Memory box preserves the keepsakes collected during seasonal adventures. You can find it in the Goals section.

Each memory records the keepsake, the season, your character’s age, and a short description of the experience.

  • Collect a keepsake from every season to earn the A year to remember milestone.
  • Complete twelve seasonal adventures to earn the A life well remembered milestone.
  • Revisit your collection to see how your adventures changed as your character grew older.

The Memory box adds a personal record of smaller experiences alongside your larger achievements.

Continue Your Education

College becomes an option when your character reaches adulthood. You can choose a major that supports your interests or career plans.

Available subjects include general studies, computer science, medicine, engineering, law, fine arts, and business.

College takes time and requires tuition payments. Scholarships can reduce the cost, while a completed degree can help unlock careers with higher education requirements.

Planning ahead can make this stage easier. Good school grades, useful skills, and enough money to manage expenses can all help your character prepare.

Find a Career and Earn Promotions

Adult characters can apply for jobs with different requirements and salaries. Some jobs are accessible with limited qualifications, while others require a degree, strong smarts, a particular skill, or a relevant major.

Career paths include service work, healthcare, engineering, law, education, technology, creative work, and more.

Once employed, you can take actions to improve your working life.

  • Work on your performance.
  • Build professional connections.
  • Ask for a raise.
  • Develop skills that support your ambitions.
  • Apply for a different job.
  • Retire when eligible.

Good performance can improve promotion prospects. Employment also creates responsibilities, so it helps to keep an eye on stress and make time for the rest of your life.

Create and Release Your Own Projects

Creative projects let your character turn developed skills into finished work.

Depending on your age and abilities, you can create projects such as music recordings, art collections, novels, apps, recipe books, documentaries, and games.

Projects require several work sessions. After completing and releasing a project, you may earn launch income and ongoing royalties.

Creating a body of work is a way to earn money while pursuing something your character enjoys. It also contributes toward creative milestones and the Make your mark life dream.

Manage Money, Property, and Investments

The Wealth section lets you make financial decisions beyond earning a salary.

  • Buy vehicles and property.
  • Sell possessions when you need money.
  • Invest in funds with different levels of volatility.
  • Start and develop a business.
  • Monitor your assets and overall net worth.

Adult life brings regular expenses. Housing, family responsibilities, possessions, education, and other commitments can affect how much money remains after each season.

Investments can rise or fall in value. A more volatile investment may offer greater gains, but it also carries a greater chance of losses.

If your character goes into debt, interest adds to the amount owed. Free activities remain available, allowing you to keep developing your character while rebuilding your finances.

Start and Grow a Business

Entrepreneurial characters can start businesses such as a neighborhood café, online studio, software startup, or community garden.

Each business has startup costs and skill requirements. After opening, you can work with your team, promote the business, and invest in expansion.

Business income depends on factors such as relevant skills, reputation, and development. Expenses also affect the profit you receive.

You can continue building the business over time or sell it as your priorities change.

Build Relationships and Raise a Family

The People section contains the important relationships in your character’s life.

Relationships have a bond level that changes over time. Spending time together, offering support, giving gifts, and sharing experiences can help strengthen those connections.

  • Make friends.
  • Meet potential romantic partners.
  • Go on dates.
  • Get married.
  • Have or adopt children when eligible.
  • Support family members.
  • Teach children a hobby.
  • Maintain relationships as everyone grows older.

Relationships can weaken when neglected. Keeping close to the people you care about requires attention alongside work, hobbies, and personal ambitions.

Adopt and Care for Pets

Pets provide another source of companionship. When your character meets the requirements, you can welcome a pet into your life and spend time caring for it.

Pet ownership brings ongoing costs as well as opportunities to build a bond. Your pet also grows older as the years pass.

Travel and Discover New Places

Independent travel becomes available at age eighteen. Bornsy includes twelve destinations, each offering a different atmosphere and experience.

Destinations include Kyoto, Paris, Marrakesh, Reykjavík, Bali, New York, Cape Town, Seoul, Rome, Costa Rica, Rio, and Antarctica.

Travel costs money, but it can help develop skills and add souvenirs to your collection. Visiting more destinations also contributes toward travel milestones.

Exploring every destination completes the See the world life dream.

Respond to Events and Story Choices

Unexpected events bring variety to each life. Your character may face a school problem, a tempting opportunity, a health concern, a relationship decision, or another turning point.

Some choices have predictable effects. Others involve uncertainty and may turn out differently from what you hoped.

Read the available options carefully. A choice may affect money, health, happiness, skills, relationships, or future opportunities.

These events help make each character’s story different, even when you begin with similar goals.

Pursue a Life Dream

Your life dream gives you a major objective to work toward.

  • Build a fortune by reaching a net worth of one million dollars.
  • Create a full house by raising children and maintaining close family bonds.
  • Make your mark by releasing five creative projects.
  • Keep learning by earning a degree and mastering two skills.
  • See the world by visiting all twelve destinations.
  • Become a champion by winning competitions and mastering athletics.

The Goals section shows your progress. Completing a life dream awards legacy points, but you can continue playing and pursuing other ambitions afterward.

Earn Milestones and Continue Your Legacy

Milestones recognize important accomplishments, including education, employment, creative work, family life, travel, business success, skill mastery, and seasonal adventures.

You can view achievements from your current life and those earned across multiple lives.

When a character’s life ends, eligible children provide a way to continue the family story. The next generation inherits a share of the estate and begins a new chapter with its own possibilities.

This gives your choices a lasting effect beyond a single character.

Save Progress and Adjust Settings

Bornsy automatically saves your progress in your browser on the device you are using. Returning with the same browser and saved data lets you continue your story.

The game also includes several useful controls.

  • Use Sound to turn sound effects on or off.
  • Open My life to access settings.
  • Change the appearance between light and dark themes.
  • Download your life journal.
  • Start a different life when you want a fresh beginning.
  • Select More Games to visit TechGrapple’s game collection.

Because progress is stored locally, clearing browser data can remove your saved life.
