The Champions 2016: World Domination – Build a Team and Conquer World Football
The Champions 2016: World Domination takes the soccer gameplay of the Champions series and turns it into a much larger journey. Instead of choosing a national team and playing only a short World Cup tournament, you create your own squad and travel around the world playing championship matches.
Your main goal is to complete 29 championship matches and eventually claim the World Cup. Along the way, you can improve your players, hire coaches, complete extra missions, and earn money for upgrades.
The longer campaign gives your team a chance to grow instead of starting every match with exactly the same setup.
Create Your Own Football Team
Before starting the journey, you can customize your squad.
You can choose the team colors and change details about the players. Player names and appearances can also be customized, making the squad feel like your own team rather than a fixed national side.
Matches use straightforward controls. Move with the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D. Press X or N to pass the ball or change the player you control. C or M takes a shot.
Passing becomes important when defenders close around the ball carrier. Moving the ball between several players can open gaps that would be difficult to create by simply running toward goal.
Earn Money and Improve the Squad
Winning football matches is only one part of The Champions 2016: World Domination.
The game includes 20 upgrades that can strengthen your team. Four coaches also become part of the upgrade system. Building a stronger squad helps as the championship matches become more difficult.
Money pays for these improvements.
Special matches and separate missions give you extra opportunities to earn cash. This means a challenge outside the main championship path can still help your progress by paying for an upgrade before the next important game.
Players also have to manage their movement during a match instead of running at full speed without thinking. Keeping your active footballer in a useful position can make passing and attacking more effective.
Travel From Match to Match
The 29-match campaign gives World Domination a much bigger structure than The Champions 3D.
You move through matches in different locations while continuing to develop the same team. A difficult opponent may reveal that your squad needs better training or another upgrade before the later stages.
The Champions 2016: World Domination mixes arcade soccer with team building. Create your players, choose the colors, pass the ball carefully, score enough goals to win, complete bonus missions, spend your earnings on upgrades, and keep traveling until your custom team becomes the champion of the world.
