Take Back a Mine on Mars

Battle Area is a 3D first-person shooting game set on Mars. Enemy forces have captured an important mineral mine, and you play as an elite soldier sent to take it back. The mission is direct. Enter the occupied area, find the enemy soldiers, and eliminate them until the mine is under control again.

You see everything through the soldier’s eyes. Corridors, rooms, and open sections of the Martian base can hide enemies, so looking around matters. An opponent may appear as you enter a new part of the mine. Moving without checking corners can put you in danger before you have time to aim.

The setting gives Battle Area a different look from a normal military shooter. The fight takes place away from Earth inside a mining facility on Mars. The red planet and industrial surroundings create a simple science-fiction theme without adding complicated story scenes.

Move and Aim at the Same Time

On a computer, W, A, S, and D move the soldier. The arrow keys can also handle movement. The mouse turns your view, aims the weapon, and fires.

Learning to move while aiming makes a big difference. Walking directly toward every enemy gives them an easy target. Moving sideways while keeping the weapon pointed at an opponent can help you stay harder to hit.

The game does not ask you to manage a squad. You control one soldier and handle the mission yourself. This keeps the focus on exploring the mine and dealing with each enemy you find.

Battle Area also supports touch controls. Mobile players use an on-screen joystick to move. A fire button handles shooting, while dragging on the right side of the screen changes the view and aim.

Search the Whole Area

The objective involves clearing the captured mine. This means players need to explore instead of staying around the starting point. Moving through the facility helps you find enemy soldiers who may be waiting farther inside.

The first-person view makes awareness important. You cannot see enemies standing behind you. Turning around and checking nearby spaces can prevent surprise attacks.

Battle Area keeps its rules simple. There are no long instructions before the action begins. You move through the Mars base, aim at hostile soldiers, fire, and continue searching until the area is secure.

Players who enjoy straightforward shooting games can quickly understand what Battle Area expects. The controls take little time to learn. The harder part comes from staying alert while moving through the mine and reacting quickly whenever another enemy appears.
