You play as the little baddies, not the hero. The plumber runs for the flag, and your job is to stop him. Each level gives you one simple move, like walking into him or pressing a trap. Watch how he acts, then use your move at the right time to make him slip up.
The plumber follows patterns you can learn. He jumps when you get close, pauses under heavy blocks, and walks the same safe path if you let him. Nudge him into a bad jump, block his landing spot, or trigger a bonk at the last second. Short levels and quick restarts make practice easy.
