You start off just guiding a single beam through simple prisms, but before you know it, you’re juggling multiple colored streams, mirrors that shift on their own, and devices that warp space. It’s the kind of gradual ramp-up that never feels unfair but always keeps you on your toes.
What really hooks me is the way each level tells a little visual story. Instead of just offering isolated puzzles, Sun Beams 3 weaves them into environments that feel alive—crumbling stone archways, overgrown jungle ruins, and even sections where you’re floating inside a glass sphere high above a canyon. The lighting effects are gorgeous; every time a beam hits the next crystal or reflector, there’s this satisfying spark that adds to the sense of accomplishment. I’ve caught myself pausing just to watch how the shadows dance across the background scenery.
