Run Pixie Run – Fly, Collect, and Power Up
Run Pixie Run is a colourful endless flying game in which players guide a small pixie through a dangerous fantasy landscape. The pixie automatically travels towards the right side of the screen, while the player controls her height to collect sweets and shiny objects without crashing into obstacles or falling into lava.
On a computer, players hold the left mouse button to make the pixie rise and release it to let her fall. Touchscreen players can press and release the screen in the same way. Short, controlled taps are often safer than climbing too quickly because obstacles can appear at several different heights.
Candies, rainbows, and other bright objects are scattered throughout the route. Each collected item adds points to the score and fills the Pixie Power meter displayed at the top of the screen. Players can also see their current score and saved best score while playing.
Dangerous orange blocks may have spikes attached to them, and touching one ends the run. Lava on the ground is equally dangerous, so the player must control the pixie carefully when flying close to the bottom of the screen. Safe ground may be touched, but relying on it for too long can make it harder to react to the next hazard.
Collecting enough bright objects completely fills the Pixie Power meter and activates a special bonus stage. During this section, the dangerous obstacles disappear and a large number of collectibles become available. The bonus lasts for a limited time before the player returns to the normal obstacle course with an empty power meter.
A pause button allows players to stop the action, change the sound setting, resume the game, or restart the run. The straightforward control system makes the game easy to begin, but achieving a high score requires concentration and smooth altitude changes.
With cheerful graphics, one-touch flying, collectible treats, hazardous blocks, lava pits, a saved high score, and exciting Pixie Power stages, Run Pixie Run provides an enjoyable test of timing and reflexes. Collect as many shiny objects as possible, fill the power meter, enter the bonus stage, and keep the pixie flying for a new best score.
