Search for Treasure Inside a Forgotten Cave
RedBoy and BlueGirl 2 sends the elemental pair on another puzzle adventure. This time, RedBoy and BlueGirl hear a story about treasure hidden deep inside a forgotten cave. They decide to search for it, which leads them into levels filled with dangerous pools, platforms, keys, boxes, and tricky routes.
Unlike the first game, RedBoy and BlueGirl 2 supports two players on the same keyboard. One player can control RedBoy while another handles BlueGirl. You can also manage the two characters yourself if you prefer.
Use Separate Controls for Each Hero
RedBoy moves with the arrow keys. BlueGirl uses W, A, S, and D.
Having separate controls allows both characters to move at the same time. This becomes useful when a puzzle needs the heroes to work together instead of completing their parts one after another.
Playing with a friend can make these moments easier because each person can concentrate on one character.
Respect Fire and Water
Each hero still has an elemental weakness.
RedBoy must avoid blue water. BlueGirl must stay away from red water or lava. Green liquid is dangerous for both characters.
These hazards force you to look at the level before moving. RedBoy may need one route while BlueGirl takes another.
Wooden boxes can also help when a gap is too large to cross normally. Moving or using a box in the right place can create the platform you need.
Find the Keys Before Leaving
The exit gate does not simply open when you reach it. You need to collect the required keys first. Once the route is ready, both characters need to make it safely to the end.
This makes exploration important. Rushing toward the gate can leave a key behind and force you to return through the hazards.
RedBoy and BlueGirl 2 builds on the teamwork idea with true two-player controls and a treasure-hunting cave setting. Guide both characters through their safe areas, use boxes to cross difficult spaces, collect the keys, avoid the dangerous liquids, and bring RedBoy and BlueGirl together at the exit.
