Download this Word document for instruction. It includes a complete “How to Play” guide—be sure to read it! The document also explains the details of the game and why there are three separate ROMs.

This is Part 1 and There are 3 ROMs to complete the game

This GBA Hack ROM is divided into three parts because of new features that couldn’t all fit into a single ROM. Don’t worry, though—you can freely import and export your saved games between them. You only need one save file to play across all three!

Compared to the original, this hack is more challenging, with more Pokémon to catch, added features, and detailed documentation and rules. It’s fully completed in English, so let’s get started!

All trainers have been upgraded for extra difficulty, but still follow the original game’s stats, moves, and items. Because of this, “difficulty” doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll face legendary Pokémon or level 100+ teams (like in Crystal Kaizo). It does mean, however, that opponents use more complex strategies—something inspired by Crystal Kaizo’s thoughtful team structures.

Keep in mind, powerful Pokémon such as Kingdra, Salamence, Ludicolo, or Alakazam aren’t available right from the start. You’ll unlock them as you progress. Expect some surprises in the Pokémon and tactics you face, especially if you don’t yet have access to the “strongest” options. For more details, be sure to check out the section on Rules and How to Play.
