The Classic Mine Puzzle With Extra Features
Minesweeper Plus takes the familiar Minesweeper puzzle and adds several new ideas without removing the number-based logic that makes the original game work. The board contains hidden mines. The player’s job is to uncover every safe square while working out where those mines are located.
Opening a safe square can reveal a number. That number tells the player how many mines sit in the surrounding squares. A number 1 means one nearby square contains a mine. A 2 means there are two nearby mines. Reading these clues carefully helps the player decide which spaces are safe to open next.

Find Mines and Mark Dangerous Squares
The mouse handles the main controls. A left click reveals a square. A right click places a flag on a location where the player believes a mine is hidden.
Flags make larger boards easier to manage. Once a dangerous square has been marked, the player can use that information when studying the numbers around it.
For example, a revealed 1 beside one confirmed mine means the other covered squares touching that number should be safe. Small discoveries like this can open large parts of the board without taking unnecessary risks.
Health and Mine Sonar Change the Rules
Minesweeper Plus adds a health gauge to its modern mode. Hitting a mine does not always end the entire game immediately. The health system can give the player a chance to recover from a mistake and continue.
The game also includes mine sonar. This tool helps detect nearby danger and gives players another way to study difficult sections of the grid.
Players who prefer the traditional rules can switch to classic Minesweeper gameplay. This lets Minesweeper Plus support both the familiar one-mistake style and its newer system.
More Than a Normal Minesweeper Board
Minesweeper Plus also includes an adventure mode alongside regular puzzle play. The game currently features multiple adventure episodes, along with different level themes, music, unlockable content, and boss encounters.
The mines also explode instead of appearing as simple static symbols. Pixel-style graphics give the game its own look while keeping the board easy to read.
At its heart, Minesweeper Plus still depends on logic. Players reveal safe spaces, study numbered clues, mark suspected mines, and slowly reduce the number of unknown squares. The health gauge and sonar make mistakes less punishing in modern mode, while the classic option keeps the original challenge available.
Minesweeper Plus works because the extra features do not replace the main puzzle. Every successful board still comes down to reading the numbers correctly and finding the hidden mines without letting guesswork take control.
