Bolls – Guide the Black Ball Through Tricky 3D Paths
Bolls is an isometric puzzle game where you control a small black ball across narrow floating paths. Each level asks you to reach a blue platform while staying on the course and dealing with obstacles along the way. Once the ball reaches the correct blue block, the platform rises and the puzzle ends.
The challenge comes from movement. The ball does not feel like a character that stops instantly after every button press. You need to think about direction and learn when to stop before rolling off an edge.
Collect the Yellow Stars
Yellow stars appear around the stages. Reaching the finish is important, but collecting the stars gives you another reason to explore the full puzzle.
Some stars sit away from the safest route. Going after them can force you onto thinner platforms or into more difficult sections. This creates a choice between heading straight toward the goal and taking a harder path to collect everything.
Bolls also introduces Hater Bolls. These hostile balls can interfere with your route and make already narrow areas more dangerous. You need to avoid them or deal with their movement while keeping your own ball under control.
Stopping Is Part of the Puzzle
On desktop, the W, A, S, and D keys control movement. Space stops the ball. Left Shift changes the camera angle.
The stop button becomes especially useful near corners and thin platforms. Rolling too far can send the ball into empty space. Stopping at the right point gives you time to line up the next move.
Changing the camera also helps. The isometric view can make one direction look different from another. Rotating the view gives you a clearer look at paths that may sit behind other parts of the level.
Bolls mixes movement with route planning. A path may look short but leave little room to slow down. Another route may take longer but offer wider platforms.
The game rewards careful movement more than rushing. Reaching the blue platform feels simple at first, but collecting stars and avoiding Hater Bolls can turn each stage into a much more demanding puzzle.
