Bring Walter’s Family Back Together
All That Matters is a puzzle platform game with a story about family. Walter Greer feels that the people closest to him have slowly drifted apart. Instead of accepting that distance, Walter sets out to bring everyone together again.
His journey involves his wife Sydney, his son Billy, baby Toby, and his father Mr. Greer. The player eventually needs to work with all five family members.
The game contains 25 main levels. Each stage places the family inside a new puzzle filled with platforms, switches, elevators, traps, and other obstacles. Reaching the exit often requires more than simply running from one side of the room to the other.
Every Family Member Moves Differently
One of the most important parts of All That Matters is that the characters do not control in exactly the same way.
Walter handles movement in a more normal style. Billy is athletic and can make useful jumps. Baby Toby moves in his own unusual way. Sydney also follows special movement rules. Mr. Greer has one of the strangest abilities and can deal with gravity in ways the others cannot.
These differences turn each stage into a teamwork puzzle.
One character may reach a switch that another cannot. Someone else may need to activate an elevator or open a path so the rest of the family can continue.
Players can switch between family members whenever a puzzle requires a different ability.
Collect the Hearts
Hearts appear throughout the levels. They represent the love that Walter wants to restore within his family.
Reaching the exit completes the main task, but collecting the hearts gives players another reason to explore each stage carefully.
Some hearts sit in easy places. Others require extra work or clever use of a family member’s movement ability.
This makes replaying a completed level worthwhile for players who want to find everything.
Solve Problems as a Family
All That Matters combines platform movement with puzzles instead of relying on fast action alone. Spikes, bombs, lasers, moving objects, and other hazards can make a route dangerous. Buttons and elevators also need to be used at the correct time.
The game becomes more interesting as more family members join Walter. A puzzle that looks impossible for one person can become simple once another family member helps.
All That Matters uses its puzzle mechanics to support its story. The family members have different strengths, but progress comes from getting them to work together. Reaching the final exit is important, yet the real journey is about putting Walter’s family back together piece by piece.
