Total Mayhem – Enter the Castle and Recover the Philosopher’s Stone

Total Mayhem is a 3D third-person shooting adventure set inside a huge and dangerous castle. The villain Parallax has stolen the Philosopher’s Stone and plans to use its power for destruction. Your job is to enter his stronghold, fight through his followers, find the stolen stone, and stop Parallax before his plan succeeds.

The game places the camera behind your character, so you can see the hero moving through the castle while aiming at enemies ahead.

Explore the Castle Carefully

Total Mayhem is not set inside one small shooting arena.

You move through different parts of a large fortress. Dark rooms, passages, platforms, and open areas create a proper journey toward Parallax rather than one endless wave of enemies.

The arrow keys or W, A, S, and D control movement. Shift makes your character jump. Space or Control fires the weapon.

Jumping becomes useful for more than avoiding an attack. Some parts of the castle require you to move across raised areas or reach another section of the environment.

Enemies appear during the journey and try to stop your search. Keeping some distance gives you more time to aim and fire before a creature reaches your position.

Keep Moving During a Fight

Standing in one spot makes combat harder.

Moving sideways while shooting can help you avoid incoming danger. You also need to watch the area around the character because the third-person view gives you a better look at nearby threats.

The castle itself creates part of the challenge. Dark areas can make it harder to notice what waits ahead, so charging blindly into every room can put you directly beside an enemy.

Total Mayhem mixes shooting with exploration and platform movement. The controls remain small enough to learn quickly, but reaching the end requires more than holding the fire button.

Move through the castle, clear Parallax’s minions from the path, jump across difficult sections, search deeper into the fortress, and continue toward the stolen Philosopher’s Stone.
