Drift Cup Racing is an arcade racing game where your car spends almost as much time sliding sideways as it does driving straight. The vehicle accelerates automatically, leaving you to concentrate on steering through bends, avoiding trouble, and finding the fastest path around each track.
You compete against other cars across courses covered in tarmac, dust, snow, and other surfaces. The goal is always clear. Cross the finish line before your rivals and use the rewards to build a stronger collection of cars.
Learn to Control the Slide
Drifting is not only there to make the car look impressive.
Every corner asks you to judge when to start turning. Turn too late and the car can slide toward the outside barrier. Turn too early and you may cut the corner badly or lose the smooth racing line.
There is no normal brake control to save you from every mistake. The car keeps moving, so clean steering becomes the main skill.
A long sideways slide may look good, but the quickest drift usually stays close to the inside of the bend and points the car toward the next straight as soon as possible.
Watch for Hazards and Boost Pads
The courses contain more than rival drivers.
Oil patches and slippery frozen areas can reduce grip even further. Hitting one at the wrong moment can send the car sliding away from the route.
Bright boost areas provide the opposite effect. Driving across one launches the car forward with extra speed. A boost can help you pass an opponent, but receiving that extra speed just before a sharp corner can also make the next turn harder.
Winning races earns coins. Those coins can improve your vehicles and help unlock a total of six different racing cars. Each car has its own handling, so a new vehicle can feel different when entering a drift.
Drift Cup Racing rewards smooth driving more than constant steering corrections. Follow the racing line, avoid hazards, use boosts where they help, upgrade your cars, and keep winning until you can claim the cup.
