Race for the Championship
Maximum Acceleration is a 3D racing game where you compete against other drivers in a car racing championship. The goal is clear from the beginning. Finish ahead of your rivals, earn money, and use your winnings to buy faster cars. Each new vehicle gives you a better chance against stronger competition.
The races reward speed, but keeping the car under control matters just as much. A fast vehicle cannot help much when you lose time on every corner.
Learn to Handle the Car
You can drive with the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D. The Spacebar works as the handbrake. Maximum Acceleration also lets you change the camera or select a different mirror view.
The handbrake becomes useful on sharper turns. Using it too much can slow the car down, so it helps to learn which corners need stronger braking.
Straight sections give you a chance to build speed again. Good driving comes from knowing when to push the car and when to prepare for the next bend.
Earn Money for Faster Cars
Winning races gives you money that can go toward new vehicles. The upgrade path makes the championship more interesting because you do not stay with the same car throughout the whole game.
A faster car can make later races easier, but you still need to steer it well. More speed also means less time to react when a corner approaches.
