Join an Elite Highway Police Unit
Highway Squad is a 3D driving and action game where you control a police car on busy highways. You work as a member of an elite police group and receive different missions to complete. Finishing a mission earns rewards and allows you to continue to the next assignment.
The game mixes driving with combat. You need to control the vehicle at high speed while also dealing with dangerous cars and other targets on the road.
Chase Targets on the Highway
The arrow keys control your police car. Traffic and enemy vehicles can appear ahead, so steering matters throughout each mission.
Some assignments involve stopping troublesome drivers or dealing with enemies on the highway. You cannot always solve these situations by simply catching up with them. Your police vehicle also carries equipment that helps during dangerous chases.
The Spacebar fires your weapon. The X key drops mines onto the road. You can use the hand brake when you need stronger control during a turn.
Check What Is Behind You
Highway Squad also gives you a rear-view mirror. Pressing C lets you check behind the car. This can help when another vehicle approaches from the rear or when you need to understand what happened during a chase.
The combination of driving and shooting means you need to watch more than the road directly ahead.
Driving straight at full speed may work on an empty section. Heavy traffic or a dangerous target can require a more careful approach.
Upgrade the Police Car
Completing missions gives you rewards that can improve your vehicle. Upgrades include better weapons and improvements to the car itself. A stronger engine can help during chases, while improved equipment can make difficult enemies easier to handle.
Successful missions also increase your rank. This creates a clear sense of progress as you work toward higher positions in the squad.
Highway Squad gives you more to do than simply race toward a finish line. You chase targets, use police weapons, avoid road trouble, earn rewards, upgrade your vehicle, and complete new missions as your rank grows.
