Jon and Boyfriend Return

FNF vs. Gorefield V2 greatly expands the original horror rhythm mod. Jon and Boyfriend continue their fight against Gorefield through a much longer story. The complete collection offers more than two hours of music and 21 rap battles. Animated scenes connect many of the songs and show how the characters move through the strange adventure.

The song list includes “The Great Punishment,” “Curious Cat,” “Metamorphosis,” “Hi Jon,” “Terror in the Heights,” “Bigotes,” “Fast Delivery,” “Health Inspection,” “Cat Petella,” “Mondaylovania,” “Ultrafield,” “The Complement,” “Roses and Quartzs,” “Cryfield,” “Nocturnal Meow,” and “Cataclysm.” Bonus tracks include “Balls of Yarn,” “Laughter and Cries,” “Take Me Jon,” “Breaking Cat,” and “Captive.”

The stages do not stay inside one room. Jon and Boyfriend meet different forms of Gorefield and enter scenes inspired by several dark jokes, animations, and character designs.

Survive Special Notes and Attacks

The normal controls use the arrow keys or W, A, S, and D. Press each direction when the matching note reaches the target. Accurate hits keep the health bar on Boyfriend’s side.

Several songs add their own rules. Dangerous notes can cause damage or block the view. Some battles include attacks that need a special response. The player may need to dodge, shoot, or follow another action shown during the song. “Hi Jon” includes special notes and a life meter that makes careless hits more dangerous.

Random key pressing causes extra misses. The safest method involves watching the note targets and learning each special symbol before the fastest section begins.

Explore a Much Larger Mod

Story mode presents the battles in a planned order. This makes it easier to understand Jon’s fear and Gorefield’s changing forms. Free play gives quicker access to individual songs after the player wants to practise a difficult track.

FNF vs. Gorefield V2 includes sudden scares, body horror, disturbing monster art, flashing effects, and tense scenes. The creators warn that some content may not suit every player.

This second version does more than replace the original artwork. It adds many new songs, longer scenes, extra opponents, unusual mechanics, and hidden content. Players need strong rhythm skills to finish every battle and reach the end of Jon and Boyfriend’s frightening journey.
