The white morale bar stands as a lifeline for your side. The bar stays above twenty percent and fresh fighters join your ranks. It falls below that level and you lose your current troops and restart the stage. A skull marks each loss. A banner marks your first win on any level.
Select any unit with a click then swap it with a neighbor by clicking the target or using arrow keys. Press the space bar to clear your choice. You unlock new unit types and they appear on buttons in the bottom left. Hovering over game elements reveals helpful hints and stats.
