About Stickicide Deluxe

I stumbled onto Stickicide Deluxe while hunting for a wild little physics-based experiment, and I have to say, it’s oddly captivating. You guide a wobbly little stick figure into all kinds of death traps, from spinning buzz saws to swinging spiked hammers, and the tiniest change in trajectory can send your guy into a completely different fate. It’s ridiculous and a bit gruesome, but that’s exactly the charm—every failed attempt feels like a goofy puzzle to be solved rather than a frustrating death spiral.

What really sold me is how each stage feels handcrafted, like someone sketched out the ultimate Rube Goldberg nightmare and then said, “Yeah, let’s fling a stickman into it.” You’ll find yourself tweaking angles, power levels, and timing over and over, just to see all the different ways your little trial corpse can splatter. The soundtrack is delightfully minimalist, letting the clang of metal and the thud of impact take center stage every time you mess up your launch into a bed of spikes.

Despite its simple premise, Stickicide Deluxe surprises you with unlockable tools and modifiers—gravity-shifting platforms, exploding barrels, even tiny springboards that send your stickman into orbit if you’re lucky. The designer clearly loves watching things go ka-boom, and you’ll love trying to outwit each new obstacle. I may have spent more time spectating ragdoll physics than actually “winning,” but that’s kind of the point: the journey’s just as entertaining as the landing.
